Alexandria is the Second Largest City In Egypt And the second capital of Egypt as well, named after its founder, Alexander the Great, Visit the Catacombs which are underground tombs that were used by the Ptolemaists and Greeks. The uniqueness of those tombs can be found in their design plans and decorations which are a mixture of Egyptian and Greco-Roman arts. Visit Pompey's pillar, which was erected by Posthumous in honor of Emperor Diocletian. Explore the Roman theatre, this 4th centaury AD building continued in use for close to 300 years.  Enter and explore Qaitbay’s Citadel. Located on the Mediterranean Sea coast where the famous Pharos Lighthouse used to stand, the citadel was built to defend Egypt from the Ottomans whose power was increasing in the Mediterranean and Relax by the Mediterranean Sea  . Visit the modern library of Alexandria.
